Note:
Prior to the 2010 season, Capt. Jim sold the Pequod II to Capt. Matt Strong.
Capt. Matt worked with Capt. Jim for several years and Captained many charters on the Pequod II over the last few years. Now Capt Matt has purchased the boat from Capt. Jim and will be operating it under its new name: "Too Strong ".

Capt. Jim is also available to Captain your boat by special arrangement. Capt Jim knows the local waters very well.
Lake
Michigan is world re-knowned for its
offshore fishing for chinook salmon, brown trout,
lake trout, and steelhead. Our home port, Ludington,
Michigan is considered to be one of the top fishing
ports in the state.
Anglers
of any age can enjoy a guided fishing adventure with Capt Jim on your vessel.
Capt. Jim is a fully qualified U.S. Coast Guard licensed
Captain, and is fully licensed to operate your vessel.
Capt. Jim is familiar with the operation of most vessels from single to twin engine, and is familiar with most modern electronics.
Capt. Jim is careful and lives by the safety first rules.
Capt Jim has fished and cruised these waters since 1971.
He knows the local history and where the fish hang out.
As a life-time teacher and fisherman, he is uniquely qualified to tell you about the area shoreline, or to take you to where the fish are and teach you a few fishing tricks.
